About Spencer
SPENCER DONOVAN is a transgender artist currently residing in the Chicago area. He received his master's degree in design from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2023. After graduating, he returned to Chicago where he currently lives just around the corner from his undergraduate stomping grounds at Loyola University. He moonlights as a scenic and projections designer for a variety of theatres. He is constantly striving to give transgender individuals a voice, and working to make the performing arts industry a safer and more inclusive space.
