Concert Stuff Group Expands Global Event Capabilities With Acquisition Of HD Flooring

August 14, 2025

Concert Stuff Group (CSG), a leader in live event production solutions, is proud to announce its acquisition of HD Flooring, New Zealand’s premier stadium and event flooring provider. This strategic move further strengthens CSG’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure and safety solutions to concerts, festivals, and large-scale events worldwide.

Founded in early 2020 by Craig Edwards, HD Flooring quickly became a market leader, supplying high-quality flooring solutions to New Zealand’s most iconic stadiums and events—even amid the challenges of the pandemic. With a reputation built on innovation, reliability, and deep expertise in crowd safety, HD Flooring has been instrumental in elevating event standards across the region.

Craig brings over 15 years of experience in crowd management, barrier systems, and event safety. After a stint running barriers at a staging company, he joined Mojo Barriers Australia in 2012 as General Manager. Further reaching, his career spans global tours and high-profile events, including project managing 2.4km of barrier at the G20 Summit in Brisbane, working as a barrier and carpentry tech on tours with Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and most recently serving as Stage Manager on Metallica’s M72 World Tour.

As CSG’s own company, G2 Structures, continues to build a large-scale operation in Australia and New Zealand, Craig plays a key role in introducing the roof systems into the market. In 2024, the company experienced success across the continents with Luke Combs, as well as the cementing of a strategic partnership with Stage Set Australia/New Zealand.

Beyond flooring, his extensive background includes leadership in Safeguard Barriers, supplying over 90% of New Zealand’s major concerts and festivals.

“This acquisition isn’t just about products—it’s about expertise, relationships, and shared values,” said JB Dolphin, Managing Director of Guardian Barrier Services. “HD Flooring’s reputation for excellence and safety perfectly aligns with our vision to set new global standards in live event infrastructure. We have worked closely with Craig for many years and he is a part of our family.”

Through this acquisition, HD Flooring will integrate into CSG’s growing portfolio of companies, enhancing access to cutting-edge event flooring technologies and expanding CSG’s reach across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. This partnership also supports the launch of Guardian Barricades in Australia later this year—bringing over 1km of barrier into the market alongside G2 Roof systems, ADA cable ramps, custom drapes, and temporary seating solutions.

“Joining Concert Stuff Group marks an exciting new chapter,” said Craig Edwards, founder of HD Flooring. “Together, we’ll continue to deliver world-class solutions while investing in training the next generation of local experts. Our mission remains the same—keeping crews safe, promoters confident, and fans thrilled.”

With this acquisition, Concert Stuff Group also finds and reinforces its position as a global leader in live event infrastructure, offering turnkey solutions that combine innovation, safety, and seamless execution.
