Bloomington, IN — Tyler DeLong, founder of DeLong Rigging Solutions announces the formation of the DeLong Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit to help more workers find a place in the global entertainment industry.

“I am fortunate because I learned to rig from my father.” Said Tyler Delong. “Most people go to college, go to a for-profit trade school, or rely on more senior workers to share their knowledge, yet we still have a lack of competent, qualified workers. I’m starting the DeLong Foundation to make our industry stronger, smarter, and safer through cost effective and subsidized training with industry experts across all crafts.”

The DeLong Foundation’s Board of Directors is led by:

• Tyler DeLong, Founder of DeLong Rigging Solutions is an ETCP Certified Rigger (Theatrical & Arena, #2771), ETCP Recognized Trainer, IATSE Journeyman (Locals 618 & 30), and a voting member of the TSP Rigging Workgroup. Tyler is a prolific contributor to the rigging community through peer-reviewed publications and frequent presentations at industry conferences across the globe.
