"Next Chapter Podcasts produces a series called the Play On Podcasts, which are created in partnership with Play On Shakespeare, originally established at Oregon Shakespeare as an initiative where each play by William Shakespeare was assigned to a contemporary playwright who would “translate” the show by updating parts of the text and setting. During the pandemic, those scripts were reimagined as a podcast presentation for Next Chapter Podcasts ever since," explains Jones. "I’ve now done 14 series (all Shakespeare plays) for NCP, and have won two Signal Awards, an Ambie Award, and now a Webby Award for my work!"

Jones adds: "I am now starting my first non-Shakespeare play for NCP called “runboyrun” by Mfoniso Udonia, which is part of her Ufot Family Cycle, a series of nine plays being produced by theatres in Boston. It’s super interesting and a complicated piece, but I am very excited."

Nominated for a Tony Award (Slave Play) and Drama Desk Awards, Jones is also a founding member and co-chair of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA) and works closely with Live Design/LDI in coordinating the jury and selecting the sound recipients for the annual Pat MacKay Diversity In Design Scholarships
