I was first introduced to USITT in College through my college professor at William Carey University. The only year I was able to go to the conference was the year it was in St. Paul Minnesota. It was such an eye-opening experience and left me in awe.
To be surrounded by so many people in the industry and to see their work and workshops was a highlight of my college experience. To even be in the same room as Ming Cho Lee was breathtaking. Now amidst the chaos and pandemic I have found myself seeking and searching for ways to inspire and use resources for my own students. I feel as if I have come full circle and have once again become a student and found my way home.
