Official PQ 2023 Announcement Will Take Place Online – June 22, 2021

The official announcement of the 15th edition of Prague Quadrennial will take place online on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. CET / 10:00 a.m. EDT. For the first time, the event will be open to the public and everybody can join in. The Prague Quadrennial together with the Arts and Theatre Institute and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic are pleased to invite you to the official announcement of the 15th edition of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2023.

At the official announcement, which will be hosted by the moderator Saša Michailidis, they will introduce you to the PQ 2023 theme and artistic concept, and to the main exhibitions’ open call.

The announcement will be presented by Michailidis with the following speakers:
On behalf of the PQ Team: ATI Director and PQ General Director Pavla Petrová, PQ Artistic Director, Markéta Fantová, PQ General Manager Michaela Buriánková;

On behalf on the International Artistic Team: Pavel Drábek, Andrew Filmer, Barbora Příhodová, Carolina E. Santo, Patrick Du Wors, and Klára Zieglerová;

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic: Minister of Culture, PhDr. Lubomír Zaorálek and Deputy Minister for Performing Arts, Mgr. Milan Němeček, Phd

All essential documents, such as the artistic concept, the application form for participation in exhibitions and a detailed description of the location and its genius loci will be released after the official announcement.

The official open calls for PQ’s other projects will be published in the fall 2021.
