SETC is excited that outdoor theatres across the country will be among the first to come out of the pandemic and reopen their “doors.”  SETC will grant a total of $10,000 in reopening assistance money to outdoor theatres this summer to help with pandemic-related equipment, such as staff PPE, stanchions, signage, and cleaning supplies. Grants will range from $1,000 to $2,000, with the number awarded to be determined based on response. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2021, with grants awarded by July 30, 2021.

The Outdoor Theatre Pandemic Assistance Grant is intended for non-academic professional theatres with current/planned SETC organizational membership status. Funds may be used to support theatre operations related to reopening theatres and best practices for pandemic safety protocols including equipment, supplies, training, and/or other pandemic related reopening expenses.
