Dive into the world of British Historical Costume in Film at USITT's 2024 Costume Symposium! This year's symposium takes place at Arts University Bournemouth.
This two-week program combines classroom education with excursions across the UK. Explore centuries of fashion history at the Blandford Fashion Museum, tour grand Victorian Estates, and experience the magic of Highclere Castle — the iconic setting of "Downton Abbey"! In the classroom, cover topics such as embroidery, millinery, rendering, and more, all taught by technical specialists working across the pond.
