The Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Performing Arts is a premier institution, nationally recognized for developing talent in both traditional and emerging fields of performance, scholarship, and creativity. The Conservatory invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Scenic Design position, beginning on August 1, 2024.
The successful candidate will teach courses in the theatre program; design for the season of productions; teach additional courses in secondary areas of expertise; and work daily in the scene shop mentoring students in construction, props and painting. Strong candidates will demonstrate a commitment to teaching and developing undergraduate theatre students; will possess an MFA in Scenic Design; be a strong collaborator; and fully participate in recruiting prospective students.
