Salary Placement:
This twelve (12) month per year position will be on an individual contract. This classified administrator position will be placed on Range 3 of the Administrator Salary Schedule. Step placement is based on experience. Initial salary step placement for new employees is customarily at step 1, 2, or 3 ($6,678.00 / $6,778.00 / $6,880.00 per month) of this 20-step salary range.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• An Associate’s degree (equivalent of 60 semester units) in any field is acceptable with coursework in Theater or Technical Theater.
Experience:
• Minimum of three years professional experience as an Assistant Technical Director, • Master/Theatrical Carpenter, a Master/Theatrical Electrician, or Audio Engineer. Experience must include at least two years supervising student or intern crews in a theatrical setting and at least one year of experience advancing technical needs for a touring production or a performing arts center.
