The Lead Set Dresser will help coordinate and execute the build and installation of all props and set décor elements while ensuring they are fabricated to specifications given by the Design Department and Scene Shop Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Partner with the Scene Shop Manager to fulfill the needs of project timelines.
- Successfully manage multiple, competing priorities while creating efficiencies in processes and systems for paint, props, and set décor.
- Assist the build process by constructing props, painting sets, and supporting general set construction needs.
- Maintain a positive influence in the shop and actively promote and exemplify a culture that upholds our Mission, Values and Safety statements.
- Work to build trust and teamwork throughout the Scene Shop as well as with the Design Teams.
- Support and uphold the vision and direction of the team as set forth by leadership.



- Consistent ability to maintain a positive, collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- Aptitude for organization and project management; big picture perspective and goals
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and rational under the pressure and time demands of a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in operating sewing equipment, scene shop tools, and machinery.
- Ability to work at a variety of heights on scissors and boom lifts.
- General craft, painting, and building skills.
- Interior Design and/or Props Master experience preferred.
- Ability to lead and work well within a highly collaborative team atmosphere.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High level of computer competency (specifically Microsoft Office).
