The employee must regularly lift weight and / or exerts force up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) regularly; work near moving mechanical parts regularly; work in high, precarious places occasionally; odors, fumes or airborne particles regularly; toxic or caustic chemicals occasionally; outdoor weather conditions regularly; extreme cold (non-weather) occasionally; extreme hot (non-weather) occasionally; risk of electrical shock occasionally; vibration occasionally; and working around animals regularly. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Requirements

Prerequisites:

- Currently enrolled, and in good standing, with an accredited post-secondary educational program. Priority will be given to students in the second half of their educational program.
- Willingness to interact with all Show Operations departments (such as Deck, Lighting, Wardrobe, Stage - Management, Animals, Audio, and Cast) to learn and understand interactions with each of the show ops departments in a professional theater.
- Flexibility to support the Audio team as needed, including a wide range of hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn through a variety of experiences.
- Ability to receive both affirming and constructive feedback.
- The ideal candidate must be eager to learn, have a positive attitude, and a willingness to adapt as needed.
