What You Will Do
The Technical Delivery team develops technical strategy and provides Technical Direction and Technical Design to build and deliver live entertainment shows globally.

Work on projects that impact our international and domestic offerings

Assist with technical research and documentation development

Track and review incoming and outgoing communication and deliverables

Partner with cross-functional teams including creative, production, designers, consultants, and vendors

Support Digital Asset Management system, including ingest, organization and distribution of active and archived digital files
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
Passion for technology – whether that’s theatrical systems, video game design, 3d printing, building robots or something else

Organized and thorough
-
Strong oral/written communication skills
-
Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities

Experience crafting and delivering compelling presentations, distilling technical details into simple written and visual communication

Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint or Keynote
-
Proficient with modeling software including CADD (Revit and/or AutoCAD)
-
Experience in an entertainment or theatrical technical environment
Preferred Qualifications
-
Fabrication skills, technical production or design experience

Experience working with Unreal Engine or Unity, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, Maya, Rhino or 3ds Max
-
Familiarity with entertainment programming software (such as MA 3D, Navigator, Hippotizer, Qsys)
-
Interest in new technology, game design, virtual production or software development
Education
-
Junior or Senior, graduate student, or recent graduate earning or completing MFA in a technical design-related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

Must be at least 18 years of age
-
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must have reliable transportation to/from work and provide own housing for the duration internship program located in the Glendale, CA area.
